KH, nah.. something that teaches a lesson would be better. Before selling the identity to criminals, getting huge gaming debt from a pimp and telling I have a person who will pay it back with work, I think it would be in order to cancel some insurances, fudge up the credit info (when she actually gets one), see if there's some kind of college admission process going on and fudge it up as well, and just generally running the credit up and getting free stuff for a while. After that, the identity is off to real criminals who can better benefit from it.

Because if you don't know that part of protecting an identity is not because some weirdo might come and stalk, it's because identity theft is a growing business and it REALLY hurts the victims.

****, I think it's better to just give a tip to the terrorist hunters, maybe inform that the person has died and laugh at the paper work afterwards to make her appear in the books of the living again. How is the credit card working again, and the SSN? Oh they're not? TOo ****ing bad.

There's lots of things ordinary ass spreading teenagers do not know, but just going against a good common sense advice because 'the person was mean who told it' is a great example of people, who will have 3 kids before they are 21, no higher education, and a man who drinks more beer than they have money.

Well, IT security field kind of teaches you about identity thefts, because sometimes, it's all about that. So, I really don't like it when common sense of 'protect yourself' is seen as 'A-ha! But it could never happen to me'. That's the footlocker example

but how much info have you revealed about yourself? You have posted pictures of yourself, mentioned your careers, your schools. I'm thinking an enterprising person could steal your identity.
