    the causalities are lower. Mainly because men are riding around in armoured vehicles instead of on foot. That is probably what explains the drop in casualties.

          the main reason the Bush administration didn't put enough troops into Iraq was to keep casualties down and avoid another Vietnam. Its chicken and egg.
