My wifi card is not working. This started a couple of days ago when the laptop went into sleep mode. After I woke the laptop up the wifi card stop working, and when I restarted the computer the driver for the wifi card did not even show up. I look in the device manager and I dont even see the wifi card their. Every so often Windows will detect the wifi card and install the driver, but as soon as I restart, turn the computer off, or it goes to sleep the driver dissappears again. Anyone here have any ideas? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the driver for the wifi card, but that does not work.

no, I think it might be a hardware problem. Thankfully the laptop is still under warranty.

I am hoping I wont have to send it away to get repaired though. Does anyone have any ideas? Could it be a software problem?

I contacted HP tech support, and nothing worked. So I am sending it in for them to repair the problem.
