For a 3 year-old Dell desktop (with monitor,speakers, keyboard etc)

P4 2.4 GHz
512 MB
GeForce FX5200
17 inch CRT monitor
40 GB HD
1 DVD-ROM
1 CD+/-RW (separate drives)

The only issue (at all) with the computer is that the DVD-ROM drive makes excessive noise.

If I were going to sell it I'd do it on Craigslist probably.

$200-250ish sounds about right, dontcha think? It has the advantage of brand name (ignore whether that really means quality. A product is worth what its purchaser is willing to pay for it ), comes complete, and it's not *that* outdated.

Its core stats are better than my machine, anyway. I have a 1.7 ghz with 256MB of Ram. I do have the 5500 video card and I got a 17" LCD monitor for my birthday from my wife
