I'm just *****ing, LotM. There is no nice, neat, clearly better way.

Of course, I have no idea how advanced the Lybian program was. I have a sneaking suspicion that it was a joke, so they "gave up" nearly nothing. But I do not know that. I merely suspect it.

IIUC the chemical program was pretty far along (of course its no longer PC to call Chem weapons WMD) and the nuke program was pretty primitive - more than Iraq in 2002, much less than Iran. But the info from it was important in nailing down the AQ Khan network, so it wasnt trivial in that sense.

Its just that it seems some folks are "bush is teh eevil cause he wont TALK to our enemies to get them to disarm" and then in the next breath "bush is teh eevil hypocrite cause he TALKED to our enemies to get them to disarm"

I understand. I wasn't trying to be that way. It was more a venting of frustration with the way of the world - not specific to Bush at all. Note the dig at the UN.

You lived overseas lately, LOTM? Bulgarian nurses and British oil company expats are NOT hanging out together. They are of distinctly different classes. In fact, calling a Bulgarian nurse educated is way off the mark; trained, yes, but not educated.

              Well, when Dick Cheney's involved...

But again, for the 9 zillionth time, I don't think the nurses are guilty, of that Haliburton's involved. I just think the Haliburton connection, however it showed up there, is weird.
