Isn't it obvious? They are, after all, located that much closer to the backward people of the U.S. than all the rest of us.

You're wrong. You read too much in my post.

Maybe I did. It would be a welcome surprise if it were so.

In our catholic grammer school, they segregated us and only the girls got sex ed. An interestesting concept.

It was taught by a 65 year old nun that if she had ever had sex it couldn't have been in the last 45 years.
So yes, the girls said it was quite boring.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

            I hadn't thought of that.

I take it you found your own way

However, this is very, and I really mean very common... In rural zones, catholic schools (at least in ONE catholic school ), “favelas”…. Everywhere you can find ignorance, you can find teen pregnancy. It’s not so difficult to ignore a lot of things if you don’t know what to expect… especially if your body is experiencing many of changes, more than you can understand... Remember, not many time before that, just on other day, this girl was really a girl, not even in the puberty…
Believe me, an unaware girl can go through the whole process without notice.

In general, this ruins the life of both, mom and baby.

Nothing wrong. But being a little more "mature", the mother increases a lot the chances of the child.
