    It's very much dependant on subsidies. The countries that use it have subsidies. Suppliers to the industry monitor government actions closely. I know.

        At any rate, I would prefer nuclear to buring natural gas for power.

            Anwser: Not very. It does reduce the amount of sulfur in the coal so you don't get as much sulfur dioxide but most of the mercury is still there and of course so is all the other pollutants.
