The figure actually given in my textbook is 114/100, and I habitually simplified it to the lowest number that requires no decimal which is 57/50. There's no difference.

In all honesty the colon is far more common for numerical ratios and the slash far more common for proportions and symbolic ratios (leaving aside fractions and percentiles), but my heretic school taught us both were kosher for the former. Especially when you indicate in words that you're talking about a ratio.
