    If there were code porn, this is it.

    Simply brilliant.

    The folks at Beyond3D did a lot of detective work to trace this code snippit (which was found in the sourcecode to Quake 3 and DOOM 3): http://www.beyond3d.com/articles/fastinvsqrt/

      It's code to calculate the inverse square root of a number. Very, very efficient code.

                It's possible I'll work at the second gym again, but my old manager has to come back hopefully as an owner. The guy that forced her out is a moron, but is an owner so there wasn't much else she could do but quit and as she goes, so went several of the staff voluntarily in support. I collect my last paycheck from that gym tomorrow.

                            Yeah, if he'd keep his mouth shut (where appropriate) he'd be pretty tolerable. But he crossed my manager/friend of 7 years, so I'd be hard pressed not to hurt him intentionally.
