Definitely not cool - when trolling takes new face

Well, there's this guy who is lost in here. I live in a place that is filled with students, maybe few thousand.

So this guy got lost after he failed to return from a party. He left home early, during midnight or so. Drunk, no jacket, no wallet, no cell phone, that was left in the place he was partying.

So they searched for him with chopper, and all kinds of volunteers, I have to admit this is the largest search I've ever seen. And it happened EXTREMELY early, as in 24 hours after he got lost. Unheard of in here.

Turns out, his parents are rather rich, they paid for national tv commercial time too, just to put his face on it and information.

We don't know why this has been so massive so rapidly, but they might be afraid he has been kidnapped I guess. The most likely thing is though, that he is dead right now. Either he went and was drown in the river, or was killed by someone.

SO we got these threads all over, and in every single thread there are people who are pissed off because the search is this massive. His parents are paying for it, but they're like 'rich kid gets what he deserved' and **** like that.

That seems to be the issue. His parents are rich, so this is somehow more OK.

The level of stupidity just seems to peak these days.

Also it kind of makes people have anxiety. It was two years and someone got shot to death in here, so that wasn't cool, and now it seems like there is a good chance of some other student possibly getting killed.

OH well, what can I say. I hope he turns up unharmed. I was just blown away by the level of idiocy in threads. The biggest issue seems to be, that his parents are rich. So ****ing what?

oh yeah, and the route he uses (that everyone uses when they go out in here) is what I use often so it's kind of weird. Plus, I know it's filled with weird ****ers sometimes. So, if you'd be alone and very drunk, maybe better idea is to take a taxi. LIke few months ago, we had this stalker too, but he was just some random pervert and only masturbated and stuff, stalking and standing behind peoples windows.

Just weird mofos sometimes. I avoided my car getting banged up by goign away for a weekend, when I returned, all the cars in that parking lot were banged up with a crowbar. Well I didn't get away, few months after that someone broke into my car and stole my cd player. Oh well. Next time I'll catch the bastard!

When did he go missing? You say the search was started relatively soon, but that's all.

The search started after 24 he was gone missing. If you call a police in here and say someone is missing (especially a drunk student) and you haven't seen them for 24h, you'll get an answer 'wait more'.

After 24h, in midnight, they started searching with helicopter and all kinds of forces.

Also, we don't have personal 'ads' on TV, like in this case.

All after 24 hours, this is extremely uncommon, as in unheard of. So this pissed off all the lefties. Because someone is rich and using their money like this, as if it's their problem.

That's what I think too. Why would you start trolling like that, especially when the situation is 'still on'. Normal people do not think and get angry that someone has the resources to search their son. THey would support it and hope they find him. They'd think about how the family and friends are in a horrible situation with MIA in your hands, and when it comes to Finland, if you turn out missing, and you are not a person who does that on purpose, you are most likely dead. (Even if no crime, it's winter. Pass out outside and you're as good as dead. Plus in this city, you turn out missing, they'll find you when your body starts floating in the river. People drown in the city, kind of ironic.)

So trollers know he is most likely dead by now. So, perfect time to troll, eh? Freaking idiots.

Besides, I don't know the dude who got lost, but I see his 'lost' adds all over where I live. People are very worried. My poitn is, if you have no sympathy for the case, which is normal because peopel go missing all the time, then why not just shut up? If you really have to get your say and bash the situation, that really tells something about your character you know.. unless you're a teenager and saying things you don't want to say just to be 'outrageous', then that person has absolutely no excuses. And for people like that, my sympathy drops to 0 faster than a speeding bullet.
