Honda Fitta - Fitta is Swedish for tw@t.
They were clever enough to never market it in Sweden. Imagine the sales slogans:
Fitta - Small on the outside, big on the inside
Fitta - Every man's favorite
Fitta - Your most loved toy
Fitta - The only car that gets bigger with age
Fitta - The only car with sex drive
Fitta - Takes a man to handle
Fitta - It's the inside that counts

It's not a brand name, but interesting. In the fifties, I think it was right after Stalin's death, Poland got and order to name some city after him. After a heavy discussion (I believe a particular city was suggested, but it managed to defend itself against this honour by claiming it's an old city and the name is too tied with its history to change it), Katowice, the modern -day capital of Upper Silesia and a young city (since XIX century) was chosen and renamed to Stalinogrod, The City of Stalin.
All seems fine, doesn't it? A capital of a region, and of the biggest industrial region in Poland.
But the former name was Katowice, which means "City of the Executioner"...
so either polish communist rulers were very dumb... or had a sense of black humour.
Perhaps the second thing. My history teacher showed us tv chronicle about Stalin's death... tv visited grand butchery factory or whatever to call that, and it was said "the workers felt they had a special bond with comrade Stalin"..."I realise I hold the key to freedom,
I cannot let my life be ruled by threads" The Web Frogs

One of the car producers from Asia(don't remember which) got themselves a new model a few years ago. In Asia they called it "Fitta", and initially called it that in Scandinavia too. Until they found out that it means p*ssy here.Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.-Isaiah 41:10

Windows Vista! Vista does indeed stand for "hen" in Latvian, and is commonly used as a word to describe girls/women who are, uhmm, very dumb.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator
