My wife got this tandem water/dry cat food holder, both maybe 2 quart or so
The water amazes me, it auto refills kinda along the same theory I reckon as a hamster gravity feeder except it keeps about a cup contantly topped off in an open area then simply refills whenenever Ratooney consumes water
same with food
looks similiar to this food feeder but a bit smaller

Gt we got one of those and now are faced to live with two garfield type cats. They dont know when to stop they eat and eat and then puke on the floor from eating so much. We have to feed them now one cup every 4 to 6 hours or they gorge themselves. And when the cat food is gone the eat the dog food.When you find yourself arguing with an idiot, you might want to rethink who the idiot really is.

Another funny as heck thing is we have a Patio sliding door and a storm door which the neighborhood cats come to when we are home.
It is real quiet then WHAM! Our Cat hurls herself hissing at the door to scare the cats away , she often does it in kitchen when she is eating and they are whining to get in
