It should be spelled "judgement!" Judgement judgement judgement!

"Judgment" is perhaps the ugliest spelling of any word I've ever seen. The consonants D, G, and M were not meant to be put in succession. It's an abomination.

Furthermore, it's the only word I can think of like that. Does anyone ever write "managment?" "Engagment?" "Arrangment?"

Killing the E is completely unjustified. It's the sort of thing Saddam Hussein would do, except he killed Kurds, not E's.

I actually had this dispute with my housemates once and pulled out my dictionary to show them that dropping the e is indeed a correct alternate spelling.
