They "found" that? We've known that forever, it's not possible for a constant stream of fluid to come out of a tube.

It is straight, well maybe not. You have to account for the curve that gravity gives the stream. It's hard to to describe. I'd be willing to show you. Only kidding.

And it's not always straight. Especially after sex/jerking off. That when split streams tend to happen. Yes I know you are dying to hear all this. But it's why sometimes it is hard to get it in the bowl.

But what he is describing is that the stream isn't like water out of a hose. But it twirls around itself. I think the main reason for this is the shape of the urethra. It's not a hole like a garden hose, but more of slit (and not an even one).

Maybe there's some scientific reason it does this (via evolution and all that). In the end of the day, it really doesn't mean anything. Aside from the fact I lost 5 minutes of my life posting in this thread.

AS mentionned before, there is the action of gravity which bends the "straight stream" downward.
Next, like impaler mentionned, the "stream" actually breaks down pretty quickly in droplets...
Then there is this mistery rotary motion around the axis ...
