I don't know anything about the London Underground, so L'Enfant Plaza it is!
Are we using the Transliteration rules worked out by German POWs during WWII were foreign stations are mapped onto the London Underground and treated as 3/4 of a station when points are added up at the end of the interim sets or the Good Faith clauses championed by a small group of Malaysian cultists who took up the game during the final days of the Khemer Rouge and all stations are treated as extensions of the Underground and handled as per normal pre-Reformation of April 1976 Rules?
Either way, I'm going to try to regain a foothold in the southern corner of the map.
Elephant and Castle
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

My lord, you fellows absolutely let open the Sir Paul McCartney (named after the infamous highwayman turned patriot in 439 BC, not the pot smoking Beatle) double nisbit. I can't believe you didn't block me from going to:
Queensway
And if Lonestar had read the history behind the rules, he would know that Lord Bunable was a rabid anti-European, going so far as to eliminate any words in his vocabulary that came from French. Of course that limited his vocabulary to mostly grunts and wheezes, but he was a man of principles. What I'm getting to is that the move to L'Enfant Plaza is an invalid move and shall be stricken from the record. Disregard please.

Oy. A new game of MC and I totally missed the first round.
Happened to me once before during the (now defunct) Open Dutch semi-finals in 1973 and whenever I meet someone who participated in that event they get this funny look when they see me
This game has some interesting moves, most of which could be easily countered by a late entrance (Cort Haus with his Highbury & Islington left Mornington Crescent wide open) but I must admit that Starchild cut off an easy win by his brilliant Highbury & Islington. Although I suspect that his move was pure coincidence as he is not known to be one of the top classed MC players.
Well, just to mark my territory I claim Portobello Road. Keeping my fingers crossed...
On a side note, what is fake Boris doing in this thread?
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
Once again...
I am saddened that the Dutch no longer have a ranking points tournament, because the younger players will not be able to appreciate the downright sneakiness of Bank at this juncture.
I can almost sense the end... incredible tension as the players move across the tube, in great manuvers and and blocks. Nisbits and frozzes all around. Mimicing of all sorts of great players... but sadly, this match must come to an end, with the single doubleback, I dive around Duke's attempt and snuggle in nicely at:
Mornington Cresent

New match!! This time we'll go with something more modern. I'm thinking of the fine set of rules deliniated by Gary Walker while sitting on a toilet in Galveston, Texas. The Walker Rules of 2003 make for an interesting sort of game where nisbits are worth double while reverses are half points.
With that in mind:
Cockfosters is nice opening for this one, or any one for that matter. We all like a little **** to start the match.
