Is Greasemonkey actually useable? I understand it merely allows you to write scripts, but that's not something I want to spend time on.

The Resizable Form Fields extension is great. Thanks for pointing it out.

You can download other people's scripts that do lots of stuff you like to webpages. I currently use:

AntiDisabler: undoes disabling of context menu
ExpandArea: adds button to expand text entry areas (like the one i'm typing on now)
                  NoMiddleMan: replaces redirect pages
Y!Mail Ad Remover: obvious for Yahoo! mail users
Friend of Print Friendly: makes webpages printfriendly

You also need it to run them and combined with Platypus (which I only enable when I need, which is very occasionally) it's quite powerful. I use it to defuglify 'Poly
