IIRC, there is some religious text that claims that women are responsible for all sin.

YOU don't have a problem to lump atrocities commited by religious zealots as something necessairly inherent to all islam. Modern Islam has a much bigger problem with religious zealots than other religions do. Still, I think all religions have/had issues, they only aren't as massive and urgent.

You want to know what. I partly even agree with you. I hate having my language regulated and constrained because someone might possibly be offended. But it's not as if the US were immune to PC craziness. Of course it's stupid to be forced to claim "All religions are equally good". It would be much better to say "they're differently crap".
