    Celtics may be a joke today, but that is not how it always was...one of if not the greatest coach in NBA history.

              I don't really, but someone has to ruin every obituary thread on Poly and I figured no one else was going to step up on this one, given that Auerbach's heyday was at least two decades before most of the folks on this board can remember...

                I am one of the folks here at Poly who rememebers his 70's run as a GM


                Plus History of Sports as I grew up a Celtic Fan, Dave Cowens and John Havlicek along with Jo Jo White

                I also remember when the Celtics drafted Len Bias out of Maryland, Auerback was set because with Len Bias along with Larry Bird the Celtics were sure to once again dominate

                Then Len Bias dies of a massive Heart Attack induced by Cocaine
