These peopel are not real Christians. They are the greatest mock to the religion. These hotheads rape the bible, rape the teachings and if there's a hell.. well.. I know where my money goes for the candidates.

Well, what we need to know is how much popularity does this kind of extremism have. I assume it's a small minority, but then again I have no idea.

This is crazy brainwashing. It's crazy, it's absolutely fanatically crazy and insane.

These people have simply lost their minds and are insane.

I hope the agencies are keeping a close look at this phenomenon and especially the leaders.

And I'd like to strongly point out that these people do not represent Christanity anymore. I don't care what the say and how loud they scream and deny, they are ****ed in the head and making a joke out of the life of Jesus. I mean, assuming Jesus came back and saw this, it doesn't take a genius to guess what he'd think about this.

But this is effectively creating a new generation and an army of insane people, dangerous crazy people. There will be blood spilt and lots of it.

What makes this seems like 'normal' is that there are people in the media it seems, that come and rationalize this and spin it. There is no rationalizing insanity other than that it is insanity. They are doing a bad favor to humankind.

Now, it's amazing how the scene where the kids and their warpaintings in their faces and camos on and sticks on their hands, that scene is almost 1:1 to the one in Apocalypse Now and when they find the Cpt Kurtz's little camp. This is definitely not a good thing.

Pekka, Christianity is what Christianity does. They represent real Christianity every bit as much as al Qaeda represents true Islam. Thete are not some pure, idealized forms of religions which adherents either practice or distort, only the real expressions of real people acting and believing what they do.

As for the level of support they have in America, that's hard to define. 85% of Americans self-define as Christians of some type or another. 65% attend church on a regular basis (the highest levels in our history). 44% of Americans believe that creation happened as described in Genesis. A large percentage of that last group believes the rapture is nigh. Of those, about half believe they must take concrete actions to bring the rapture about. A smaller group believe that they need to establish a Christian theocracy in America. I don't have exact numbers on those last groups, but they aren't insignificant.

In a country with three hundred million people, we're talking about millions who actively want to abolish democracy and destroy the world.

If you have, you can't be serious (though the main person they are profiling liked it very much).

It's incredibly frightening. Made me think that perhaps some other countries aren't half so bad

The main teacher woman of the Jesus Camp looks with awe on Muslim fundamentalists brainwashing their children into hate wanting her kids to have the same passion for their religion (she actually said that). Some of the kids are messed up by the experience (calling churches were people don't stand up and yell as "dead churches", and self-hating themselves for wanting to be normal, non-fundies).

It was more frightening than any horror movie I've ever seen. As Pekka said, it's the "most disturbing documentary ever". These are the type of people who if they ever took over government, I'd want some other country to liberate us from them, for the good of humanity.
