Giulliani is pro-choice. I really doubt that he survives the primaries.

And yet it hasn't... or do you think that in 2008 we're really going to see Hillary Clinton vs. Rudy Guiliani / John McCain?

And of course, even if one of them does end up winning, they are a far cry from anointment at this point in time.

As long as Giulliani doesn't run, he gets to remain the hero of 9/11. If he runs, this will be widely disseminated and he'll look like the goat he really is.
There is not a chance anyone attacks Guilliani on 9/11 and survives. It'll hurt them more than it hurts him. They'd be wiser to go after Guilliani on his social views on abortion and gay rights in the Republican Primaries.

Rove standard playbook, Imran. Attack your opponent on their strengths. Giulliani's strength is his leadership on 9/11.

For what it's worth, I think it will be Clinton v McCain in 2008, unless the Prez and Veep get impeached, which I think is unlikely.

You think McCain is making it out of the Republican primaries?

Nope... it'll be a warm day in Hell when Frist or Gingrich get close.
