this fire-breathing dragon is an illustration of one of Krakow's legends. According to it, there was an evil fire-breathing dragon living under Wawel, and was killed by a brilliant young tailor named Dratewka, who set flamable substances inside sheep skin. The dragon thought it was a sheep and ate it. Then he felt a great thirst, but when he was attempting to quench his thirst, he exploded"I realise I hold the key to freedom,

Sigismund chapel is the pearl of the cathedral. It is covered with gold from outside, and inside, it is of unique beauty. It was even called the greatest accomplishement of renaissance north to Alps.
It contains graves of three kings of golden age of Poland - Sigismund the Elder, Sigismund August and Anne. While Anne is often neglected in lists of polish kings, she was second, after Hedugis, female king of Poland
The chapel is closed and it's hard to make a photo from behind the bars"I realise I hold the key to freedom,
