Was there a stage in the sixties where the aliens were scantilly clad women who used their feminine wiles to seduce you into becoming their sex slave. The way that flying saucer/alien sightings follow the cultural patterns of their time goes a long way to suggest that it's all nonsense. Venusians used to be a legit alien to encounter, until we learned that Venus can't support life. Are 'Greys' still in fashion?
