Hmm. Outwardly, Dear Leader may appear to be off-kilter and crazy, but from what I've read, he's actually a fairly smart guy.

With that in mind, I'm sure this "I'm sorry" phase of his is nothing more than an attempt to divide the world community on how to apply the sanctions that the United Nations passed last Saturday. I'm jaded enough to think that it's also China's way of getting out of having to really clamp down on North Korea — Kim's "I'm sorry" will give them the clearance they need to continue saying that six-party talks are the best approach to solving the problem, while at the same time giving a "light touch" when it comes to enforcing the sanctions regime.

As for South Korea, I'm sure they, too, will use the "I'm sorry" to keep economic links intact.

So, all in all, Kim wins. Again. He's doing the same thing the Iranians have done, nothing more, nothing less. I guess we'd better get used to a lot of nations arming themselves with nuclear weapons, and yet others racing to develop anti-missile defenses, because that's exactly what this trend portends.

Of course, the more widespread nuclear weapons are, the more likely something will go wrong and set off a chain reaction.

I think you guys are in denial. Once you take an objective attitude and start reviewing every action what Hussein did in 2002-2003, you realize that he did everything he possibly could to show he had no WMD. You guys are just lazily recalling the media spin pre-invasion and trying to justify illogical decisions by insanity.

Heh, my thoughts exactly. So far, there hasn't been any real action or pressure against KJI. Only words.

Sanctions still exist. More than words, and what has his dumb ass whining.
