Plans just got firmed up. I am officially going to fly to Los Angeles and audition for America's Got Talent. I can't actually believe I'm going to do this. This is totally freeky that I'm actually going to attempt to do something about a dream. I think I'm going to puke.

Not Chicago only because our budget is very very tight and the flights to both citites are the same except that in LA I can stay for free with my cousin, and free is always good. If I can save a few hundred bucks on hotel costs I'm all for it, plus I haven't seen my cousin for about 2 years so it will be good to catch up.
I sing. I was a vocal major in college and seemed to be blessed with a voice, it's about the only good thing I got when I came into this world. So I figure my schtick will be that last year they had rappin' granny so this year they can have singing granny!

Cool I just saw you live there! I'll be in LA 23-26 of October. I'm going to need all the freeking luck I can get cause I'm trying out in LA of all places with all the plastic barbie dolls and land of the fake boobs, lips and hips. I should stick out like a sore thumb with my red hair. Seriously ever since I found out I'm going to do this I've been feeling really sick. I get horrible horrible stage fright.
And when you get nervous you get pitchy and that makes you sound crappy.
