They are indeed a small minority which is why the Clintonista wing of the party, actually the DLC, wants to run centrist candidates. Because centrists can win but the far left can't. The bad part is the far left shows up to vote in primaries which is how you end up with losers like Angelides running for office when he stands **** all chance of winning. Even registered Democrats won't vote for him.
