I find the writing very difficult. Everything has to be in the proper form, and worded in the correct way. Etc.
Very different than History or Literature or other such papers. Where you just have to use proper english.
I had an english senior edit my physics thesis in undergrad.. and all of his suggestions were complete crap (and this was based upon sentence structure, etc. not on what I was conveying).
Simuliarly, in graduate school, even my peers who haven't written papers aren't nearly as useful as those who have (and these are all science students, if I go outside of my science peers they get even less useful).
I have always thought it was a way that you learn to write after a bit, and the large length of time between writing (For me), has made it so that every time I do it it is difficult.
And I know, there is a fair bit of grammer and spelling that I have to fix, which are obvious issues. Anyone can do that.
