So, I broke up with my girlfriend officially today.
Is there some unoffical rules I should follow now? Everyone seems to be giving me different advice. Alot of my older male friends are saying I should get back out there and do something on the rebound.
Alot of my friends who are my age or younger seem to think I should just focus on being single for a while.

That's why it is best to have your own circle of friends. True, there is normally some over lap but it should be her's, mine, ours' and not just ours'. If you know what I mean.
Unless you were really in love with her then I suggest you do what I did and hit the ground running.
