"Rainbow eyes" is not properly the name of an actual eye colour. It's merely evocative imagery (a girl with bright, multicoloured eyes).

The drugs thing makes more sense.
I searched for "rainbow eyes" in google pics and think that it is either related to drugs or make-up. Which means that it is not an eye color.

No. The first image I get is of eyes which do not exist on normal human beings. If asked to draw "rainbow eyes" my picture would be different from other people's pictures. You can put "rainbow" in front of most objects and an image will appear in my head.

The imagery is so vivid that there is generally a reason to put it in there.

Honestly, it's probably about drugs (as already mentioned). "The girl with kaleidoscope eyes" from the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" is similar both in the image it evokes in my mind and in the likely meaning of the symbolism.
