  • Children of Men - who's seen it?

For those who haven't heard of this, it's a British sci-fi film set in 2027. The premise is simple - for eighteen years, no children have been born, and the human race is dying out amid wars and pollution. The director is Alfonso Cuaron, of Prisoner of Azkaban fame, and it shows. The setting is incredibly grim and bleak, and the special effects are damn near perfect.

I saw it today. Great stuff. It's filled with nifty little touches (like adverts and graffiti) which really add to the atmosphere.

Anyone else seen it? It's not out in America yet, and won't be for a while, IIRC.

IMDB'd it. Looks interesting and has a decent cast.
