I'm not sure that it will be all that great, but praising the Wii sometimes annoys Asher enough that he starts screaming at people instead of spouting statistics which he may be making up because nobody but fellow computer geeks understands them (or especially cares). I don't plan to get any of them, but if I did get one it would probably be a Wii just for SSB.

It looks like PS3 isn't even getting a timed exclusive on Assassin's Creed anymore.

At MS' X06 (happening as we speak), there's a live, interactive, in-game demo happening for Assassin's Creed on the 360 -- something which wasn't done for the PS3 at the Tokyo Game Show last week. It looks like the 360 is still the primary platform, the PS3 will get a port.

I think the point of the Wii having 'innovative games' is that it ISN'T the 'uber-video-graphics-whore' machine the XBox360 is or the PS3 should be. It does, though, have an innovative controlle, and also should have a dramatically different consumer base - meaning the games WILL be innovative simply because they don't have a choice, there aren't any games ATM made for 40 year old japanese people with a gyroscopic controller.

Middle Earth is a good game. I bought that and Oblivion with my 360 to avoid having just shooters to play.
