Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
As in, which continent managed to nudge a tiny ball the fewest times into some holes on a lawn somewhere? Yes, way too little gloating. Plenty of common sense as to what's actually interesting in this world.
The Euros trounced the US, as expected. It was the first time that the average world ranking of the European team was better than that of the Americans. The euro players seem to relish this competition, while the Americans can hadly wait for it to end. They don't have a sense of team, and seem to feel that participating is more an obligation than an honor.
That said, they also played like crap.
Hats off to the Euros.

I agree with Jr... The American pro golfers me me me me me mentality just really can't compete against a true team effort like that provided by the Euro's... If the matches were played for BIG money... then the Americans "might" do better. They just don't seem to be motivated by pride. Only Tiger seemed to really want to win.

Well this time was the first time our team was actually better ranked than the American team... so I don't think it was just team spirit this time.
You are correct in that... the Euro's did field the better team this year. And the odd's makers had them as solid favorites... but it's also a matter of desire, and the Americans (with rare exception) didn't have anywhere near as much as the Euro's.
And Furyk would be offended by you Ming.
Correct on that point as well... my oversight. He also played to win.
I think Furyk cares a lot. Most of the rookies played OK. But Mickelson was a joke. Just pathetic.
The differences in putting were substantial. The greens were slow, but that's a pretty easy adjustmet. Why the Americans couldn't sink putts on what seemed to be some pretty easy greens is beyond me.
I also think the Euros really try to peak for the Ryder Cup. Not so for the Americans. For them, it's at the end of the season, and they've stopped paying attention after the last major. I don't think there's a single US player who could be said to be playing his best golf during the Ryder Cup.

Honest assessments from Ming and Jrabbit. Even when we had on paper the weaker side we did well, and now we have the stronger players (just about) you wont win without a major attitude change.
The only thing more nauseating than golf is the European inferiority complex.

I've no idea what this is aside from all the hype about Europe finally winning something, so they feel all proud like a retarded six year old painting a picture of a white wall.
