This is not "new" thinking (except the run on SB part), since others have done it as well. And some have had problems... because some of the ads will not be what Chevy expected.
Another car company (can't remember right now) had people submit ads to their website, and finally ended up having to remove a bunch of them (which were then posted by their creators elsewhere) They are tempting people to be creative, and some people will use the opportunity to abuse the product
