What Are Some Funny Off-Topic Memories?

I wish I could remember this better. I'm hoping someone with a better memory can corrent any errors I may make.
The gist of it was this:

There was a discussion underway here, and Fez was being like Fez can be sometimes.
SOMEONE, I keep thinking it was Jon Miller, but maybe not, writes "Could everyone just kind of ignore Fez? It's bad for our argument that he's on our side".

It was said, not in an attempt at wit and it wasn't really said as a slam of Fez; it was more of a desperate plea, and that's what cracked me up.
One of those little things of no moment, but I'll remember for a long time.

There was that memorable night back in November 2004, when I repeatedly fell off my chair laughing over certain people's reaction to the news as it was being reported. At one time, I think we had 30 or so different threads on the election. Bonanza!

And best of all, I knew it would happen about a year in advance, and repeatedly posted as much. Such a pity we can't have an encore in 2008. Well, not in quite the same manner, anyway..

I don't know if all of these are funny, moreso memoriable, but...

Although not *funny,* my suicide incident, where I said that I was depressed with the world and would have commited suicide. Unfortunatly, I was hospitalized right after, so I didn't actually get to see the reaction of the forum. However, I probably would have considered it funny today if it happened to someone else, tragically.

However, the main reason why that incident happened? (Well, it was more of a "last straw" thing) Because of something that happened in a story thread... I think I remember I rebelled as the north-eastern United States against it being controlled by Great Britain, and I took it too seriously, and eventually I got so angry that I decided to "commit suicide" by choking myself with a towel. It's depressing, but it pretty much the climax of my adolesence. I can only laugh at how ignorant I was back then.

Boy, I was young and stupid back then. (And yes, my signature still counts in this case ) ...at the same time it's more than just laughs though, but eh. I'm not sure why I wanted to say this - just wanted to get it out back in the forum where it happened, really.
