Unions and Workers

I find it curious that some Apolytoners adhere to the fallacious thinking that because some unions are corrupt, all unions are corrupt. This follows the same kind of illogical thinking that racists use -- some blacks are criminals, so all blacks are either criminals, or potentially prone to commit crimes.


But let me give this fallacious "thinking" a benefit of the doubt just for the sake of playing the devil's advocate. If you think unions ought to cease to exist because some of them are corrupt, what do you propose is a better way for workers to look after their own legitimate interests?

Unions are really not bad, even for the administration of a company.

It's better to have 1 man in front of you representing 10 000workers, than having 10 000 workers in front of you, resquesting different things.

They are helping the administration of big company, to save time and money.

And would also say that Unions, are good specially, for the workers in big company, where day to day relation with the hierarchy have been erased.

Apparently, SlowwHand advocates NO unions (from what he has said in the past) but then he fails to come up with a better way for workers to look after their interests.



That's like someone advocating for the destruction of all petroleum fuel running vehicles without proposing a viable alternative. I guess we would just walk everywhere we had to go, regardless of the distance, right?
