  • How much time do it take...

to receive a package(which is a book) from U.S.A. if I am in Canada?

What's your experience with USA -> Canada shipping?

Depends on who you ordered from... I dunno about Canada, but I ordered a game from Amazon.com (as opposed to Amazon.co.uk) and got it in about 4 days (which is what they predicted ). That's US -> UK though. I would expect a lot less for US -> Canada.

As for other retailers, I can't say.

Depends if it gets held up at the border or not.

Depends on where the book is, the carrier, if the commercial invoice is filled up properly and what kind of service (ground/nextday air) you choose or the seller uses and how much time the seller takes to process the order.

            Multiple factors.

Ask for a tracking number and you'll know. Unless it's USPS, then no tracking is available.

Well, books coming from the US have strict customs issues. Especially if it's a history book, cause they have to make a lot of corrections.
