US Embassy in Damascus Attacked (?)

Syrian soldiers seem to have shot most of the attackers and took one captive. The Syrians also stopped an attack on the Canadian embassy not to long ago.

An ******* dictator Asad may be but at least he doesn't like terrorists.

I think it would have been much more notable before 9/11.

There's orders of magnitude of difference between 19 men simultaneously hijacking 4 airplanes and successfully flying them into 3 targets and 4 men getting together and shooting at a building.

Not really. The sept. 11 attacks were not all that complicated.

They were just a good idea, well-executed (from a certain point of view).
