  • Uggghhh!!!
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

    • Sorry Dan. I don't usually have anything against ND, but the incessant media hype for Quinn and Co. this year has led me to take no small pleasure in this blowout. And this is coming from someone who hates Michigan...

      • In other news, Auburn-LSU is really boring and Oklahoma-Oregon is really sloppy. I hope the slate of night games are better.

Hardly. I'm such a sucker for hard-nosed, passionate defense-based SEC football. Both of these defenses could give some pro teams a run for their money.

Well, some days are not your days. The first half today was very bad.

            Damn...

              • God, what a ****ty game.

I was prescient about the turnovers, though.

                Good game, Michigan.

                        • I think with all the major games this weekend that this is a good week to start our Apolyton Top 10.

Early reports say dislocated ankle. But it was incredibly gruesome, so I wonder what that euphemism really means. His leg was pointed up, but his foot was at a 90 degree angle.
