    • Hey, it's late out here!

I think O$U deserves every unkind word that they get after what happened to Maurice Clarett, but that's just my opinion.

        • I have heard the rumblings out of Columbus too about players being paid. But Professor McSweatervest portrays an image of being in total charge, so I wonder...

          • I always qualify my mentions of O$U with that statement, that they pay their players. I just read a story about Clarett getting hung out to dry by the University, and it made me sick.

Besides that, what did their basketball team get strung up for two years ago? Why couldn't they go to post season play?

              • It isn't like OSU is the only school that pays its players. The Reggie Bush thing is coming out from USC, but I'm sure a lot of big time programs do it.

MSU has a history of losing a big game, possibly one they "should have won," and then tanking the rest of the season.
MSU typically has good talent but no depth. They often have a suprisingly strong start, only to falter toward the end of the season as injuries decimate their talent. Hence their legendary ability to crumble as the season wears on.

                  • I think OSU could have handled the Maurice Clarett ordeal a little better. The guy obviously needed some real help, but from what I've read, he was simply tossed out of the program after his little incident. Reggie Bush wasn't screwed over by his University, and while USC may have gained a competitive advantage, just like OSU, they didn't destroy the player who was paid.

I think that assumption needs to be justified.

MSU's coaching staff apparently STILL has the ND loss on its mind, even after the Illinois loss (see the end of the video). The whole program needs to be fired ASAP.
