The bench can be any position you want, but you must have at least 2 of every position at the end of the day. Positions are those determined by Yahoo - NO OTHER SOURCE. However, Yahoo has been know to list players incorrectly and then add their position once the season starts. So, for example, I believe Gaborik was initially listed as RW last year, but he got amended to RW/LW once the season got going.
