Is this not the best thing ever? So much good music, no commercials.

    Anyone else subscribed here?

I'm digging the NHL Game Alerts that update me whenever the scores change, that'll come in handy!

      Paying for music.

        I'm paying $8 CDN/mo, and it's well worth it.

Only $8? Are you piggybacking off of somebody else's account?
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. My friend had it come with his Audi A4 when he bought it last year. It's ok for those long trips but the truth is I prefer to hear the local news and information which the local stations play. Also an MP3 player would allow me to listen to what ever I wanted for those long road trips without having to pay a monthly fee.

if I wasn't so cheap I'd get it. I can't stand commercial radio. In fact, I can't stand commercials and advertisements. for some reason it grates on my nerves. I just hate to hear talking on the radio. And they do it in such an obnoxious way when selling a product. The "cooler" the station the more obnoxious the advertisements are.

I'll stick to my classical and jazz stations. All publically supported, no commercials.

MMC: In North America, we have terrestrial digital too. But satellite radio has a couple hundred channels and lots more programming.
