Considering many states in Europe have vastly more restrictive laws curtailing free speech you are clearly wrong. Go ahead and try to publish a historical video game or movie about WW2 complete with historical Nazi uniforms, or in fact do just about anything with reguard to Nazis or the genicde against the Jews. The US has far less direct censorship, and the laws about speech are far more liberal than in Europe.
That said, there seems to be far more self- and private censorship in the US than in Europe.If you don't like reality, change it! me
