Man. I haven't used that word in years. What are the odds it would become a topic of discussion. I wasn't around during the Civil War, I (sadly) haven't watched a Simpsons episode in years, and while I certainly classify as some sort of nerd, I'm not sure if it's the kind that says huzzah.

My glasses broke last night while I was playtesting the boardgame my friends and I are designing. They're now being held together with electric tape until I can buy a new pair.
I have tape on my glasses and I design boardgames. I have never looked more like a nerd than I do right now.
I tried to do that myself in middle school/junior high
I would spend hours writing up rules and drawing little units on peices of paper
