Pretty standard as I understand it here.

And exactly a year after I drove across the country westward, I get to do the same trip eastward.

This time though, I'm gonna get satellite radio.

I heard Toronto is the city with the largest Muslim population in North America.

Also, I'll be there next year for World Horror Con 2006.

                Oh, and congrats.

They're Leafs fans, they're too dumb to know the plural of leaf.

                  And I always do.

I'll be making a trip down to Buffalo for the Flames game this year too.

So lets say I set this up at my parent's house. If I flip the channel here, does it affect their TV? Or is it entirely independent of the sets in the house? Do they need to set up some kind of web server to host it? Or do I connect directly into the slingbox?

Edit: Ok, i checked the Wikipedia article. It says it only works for Windows. Does that mean the remote computer has to have windows or the broadcasting computer..?

The slingbox is a TV tuner as well as a web server.

Hmm, I just watched a CNet thing, http://reviews.cnet.com/Sling_Media_...31423815.html, and it said that if you change the channel remotely it does affect the house. But I think my parents have enough cable outlets for it to work.

And since I edited my above post too slow, I'll repost my next question: Ok, i checked the Wikipedia article. It says it only works for Windows. Does that mean the remote computer has to have windows or the broadcasting computer..?

The client you use to view only runs on windows.

I've no idea how this would affect the TV in the house unless you were connecting it to a DVR/satellite/digicable tuner...

Well I just e-mailed my dad asking for this for Christmas, and hopefully as an early Christmas present so I can get all the Lions regular season, and the last bit of the Tigers too.

                                Congrats on the job Asher.

And don't worry. By next year, you too will be talking about what a great team the Leafs are. It will make up for the disasterous season the Flames are going to have.

Where are you looking to live?

And was this the company that did the Friday night interview?
