  • How Many Unused Vacation Days Do You Have?

In my profession they are called leave days, but I have a grand total of...

    63

And before I get a chance to use any of them, Christmas, I will have 72. I used to think the Navy's 2.5 days of vacation was good until I realized you never get to use them and you can only carry 60 year to year.

It's better to use them then cash them out.

about another week this year, but i'm getting offered a new contract shortly with about double the holiday. however i'm likely to reject this new deal and leave, so we'll have to see what my next employers offer me.

I'm going to drive out to Oregon/Montana/Washington in a couple of weeks, that ought to put a dent in my unused vacation days.

In another year I start earning 3 hours a week instead of 2 hours a week.

Hmm, I'm not sure exactly something like 9 or 10. I'm saving them up to take a trip to Brazil early next year.

                      6.5

That includes a couple of days that are planned but not taken yet, so the true total is probably about 8.

Of course, our time off is a group of days that includes both vacation time and sick days. Which is great if you don't get sick, of course...

I get 22 a year, but it depends on if I have to use them for exam study.

We are not allowed to roll them over for more than 6 months.

We dont get paid for the unused ones.

                              Hence, I use'em all up
