Ok, so we know it isn't because of a noise-polution directive.

Oh and BTW, I checked and made sure the computer's mute was not on (the only thing the physical computer itself has involving sound is the ability to turn the mute on and off.

Edit: another quick random computer question. I have some music on my old computer's iTunes that I want to transfer to my laptop. Is the only way to do this to burn all of this music onto CDs and then import it onto the iTunes of my laptop? That would be difficult, because iTunes doesn't let you burn anything onto a CD-RW with something on it, and I don't know how to simply erase something from an RW. I can write over it using other programs, but I don't know how to merely erase the files on their and make it so iTunes will burn onto it. My only other option is to use up 20-25 CD-Rs (which I don't have, and which would be a total waste). Any suggestions?

"The first man who, having fenced off a plot of land, thought of saying, 'This is mine' and found people simple enough to believe him was the real founder of civil society. How many crimes, wars, murders, how many miseries and horrors might the human race had been spared by the one who, upon pulling up the stakes or filling in the ditch, had shouted to his fellow men: 'Beware of listening to this imposter; you are lost if you forget the fruits of the earth belong to all and that the earth belongs to no one." - Jean-Jacques Rousseau
