  • LSAT Prep Courses?

I'm not sure how many Polytubbies have taken the LSATs, or are lawyers, etc. but I'm entering that stage in my life where I'm getting ready to take it the LSATs. Since I'm pretty slow, I figure I should also take an LSAT prep course. Which companies do you all recommend? There's always the giants, Princeton Review and Kaplan, but also smaller companies... any ideas on which is the better one to take?
Who wants DVDs? Good prices! I swear!

I never took one but wish I did. I probably could've squeezed an extra 5-10 pts out of what I got from taking it cold. And 5-10 pts at where I was would have been worth quite a lot to me (school-wise or scholarship wise). Oh well, I went to a decent enough school and have a decent enough job as it is. Fortunately what I like (criminal law) doesn't require a top 20 school.

I used a computer-based one, but it wasn't very good. I wish I remembered who made it, but I just don't. I do recall that some of its answers were just flat wrong. That said, it's a good idea to do some sort of test prep. After all, extra points just can't hurt you.

Spending a lot of money is a bad idea though. It is just another thing to stress about and the best way to do well on the test is to just have fun while taking it.

I just bought a Kaplan book (one with 10 tests) and studied off of it. I was satisfied with that. Save the money for the bar review course .

IIRC I did 3 sample tests and that was it. I took a similar approach when I took the GMAT--although for that one I did study some math.
