Something I've been pondering for a while.
From our beginnings as semi-intelligent apes somewhere in the middle of the food-chain, we have evolved to become possiblely the most successul single species in the history of the earth. Through Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Homo heidelbergensis to us Homo sapiens, the rulers of the earth.
However, a new species of human seems to be emerging and in spite of all their efforts to make themselves extinct, they appear to be flourishing. This new species, provisionally callled Homo witless, seems to have lost Homo sapiens' propensity towards not engaging in unwise activities.
