  • I need advice on Vegas

Im going to vegas on Dec. 8th - 10th and was looking for info on hotels, night clubs, etc etc.

Ive got my flight plans worked out (free tix) but Im looking at Mandalay Bay for lodging. What are some other good hotels on the strip?

Also what are the best nightclubs for a single to pick up girls and get laid and has mostly electronic music? Yes, its going to be THAT kinda trip.

I have an advice: don't go! You will just loose all your money and pick up some venerical deceases. The bank is always the winner.

"The Strip" is only a handful of blocks long. It pretty much has 80-90% of everything that's going on.

There's a bunch of hotels there. The Venetian, Caesar's Palace, Circus Circus, the Alladin, all come to mind. Most of them are right next door to each other. They have have clubs, etc. inside.

Good hunting. --except of course for VD

              Poker

The brick and mortar games are supposed to be incredibly soft compared to online - people can't tell what hand they have, what beats what, they're absolutely clueless, and they've got a lot to donate. I wanna go to Vegas

Hello there! I see you are discussing Vegas. Perhaps I can be of assistance.

Actually some of these other guys probably know more from a tourist standpoint.

I live here, but I have no life. I don't go to clubs, as I would never be able to pick up on girls. I live in my house, so I have no idea about which hotels are good.

Generally the newer the hotel, the better it will be. The more you pay, the better it will be. It's up to you what you want. Personally, all I care about is 4 walls and a bed. And to be free of reodents, insects.

Mandalay Bay is an excellent choice imho. There are clubs inside. And House of Blues is good for picking up women. Though that isn't electronic music. But Mandalay Bay also has 2 night clubs that do specialize in that kind of music.

But why come to Vegas to get laid when you can do it at home? That's an expensive lay imho.

Women are women. Unless you are going to pay for it, the women aren't any different than where you live.

Maybe he is going to pay for it.

How much are you looking to spend, MRT? Are you Vegas-ing on the cheap or are you going to be a big spender?

Mandalay Bay is a nice hotel, and seems to tailor to what you are looking for. It has a wave pool and good segregation of teens vs. young adults vs. us old ppl with kids. I stayed their in June. Seeing as you are down strip by the luxor I would suggest Club54 in the MGM and Coyote Ugly in New York, New York as it is closer to your hotel. Also, off strip is Faces, which I haven't been to since my bachelor days, the Hard Rock is fool of hotties as is The Palms (again off strip). I would also recommend The Mesa Grill in Ceasar's for lunch or dinner.

Oh yeah, Mandalay Bay is also near the Hooters Hotel and Casino... The Palms looked as though the were putting in a Playboy wing... and something is always happing at Wynn's new place.

Mandalay Bay has really nice suites with huge bathrooms, lots of polished granite, and bath tubs which nicely fit two people.
