                  Shaped like a pyramid - more important - made of stone. Before that they made some of burned clay bricks which was more like big piles.

April, but as Qilue answered Jonathan Archer and he was in fact the first commanding officer on a Enterprise class starship (Enterprise NX-01) I´ll have to allow that as well.
