What, Bush's Number 1 Danish Fanboy has his head so far up Bush's ass that you see eye to eye with him? Go read the little mermaid or something.

He's a Democrat from Texas. Isn't that reason enough to slap him around? It's even amusing when they run away like scared little girls.

Hello! I see you are talking about The Little Mermaid. Perhaps I can be of assistance.
Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid" has a unique passage:
“I know what you want,” said the sea witch; “it is very stupid of you, but you shall have your way, and it will bring you to sorrow, my pretty princess. You want to get rid of your fish’s tail, and to have two supports instead of it, like human beings on earth, so that the young prince may fall in love with you, and that you may have an immortal soul.” And then the witch laughed so loud and disgustingly, that the toad and the snakes fell to the ground, and lay there wriggling about. “You are but just in time,” said the witch; “for after sunrise to-morrow I should not be able to help you till the end of another year. I will prepare a draught for you, with which you must swim to land tomorrow before sunrise, and sit down on the shore and drink it. Your tail will then disappear, and shrink up into what mankind calls legs, and you will feel great pain, as if a sword were passing through you. But all who see you will say that you are the prettiest little human being they ever saw. You will still have the same floating gracefulness of movement, and no dancer will ever tread so lightly; but at every step you take it will feel as if you were treading upon sharp knives, and that the blood must flow. If you will bear all this, I will help you.”
Certain readings have suggested that this could be read as a hidden message with respect to a female losing her virginity.

It's not really that much funnier than 800 "signing statements" is it?

"Just because I signed it, doesn't mean I meant it"

"Fingers crossed behind my back doesn't count, neener neener neener"

Yeah, you're right. Silly parliamentarian tactics aren't nearly on the same level as open disregard for the Constitution.

What would Ms. Otha Taylor, the Bushes' maid in Midland have to say ?

Here's the G Man reminiscing about life down in 'Shady Acres', where all the rainbow folks vibrated in harmony with each other and with nature:

Midland was a small town with small town values. We went to church...kids played ball or with marbles and yo-yos.Our homework and schoolwork were important (to some more than others, evidently...). No one locked their doors...you could trust your friends and neighbours.
                        G. W. Bush, 'A Charge To Keep'

My how idyllic. How were those coloured folks gettin' along ?

                        Ms. Otha Taylor:

" The blacks (in Midland) couldn't wear dress clothes going downtown, only overalls or a uniform. "

When he was left to his own devices, says Taylor, "I can't say I ever saw George read on his own."
Certainly nothing by Booker T. Washington or W.E.B. DuBois...

                        Some dubious Dubya appointments:

The Texas health commissioner resigned recently after he was accused of making racially insensitive comments to a Black ex-employee.

William "Reyn" Archer III, 46, who was appointed to the position three years ago, had taken heavy criticism during the past year from minority groups over comments he made about Blacks and Hispanics.

Dr. Demetria Montgomery, a top-level administrator in the department before she was fired back in September, had secretly tape-recorded a February meeting with Archer, who is White, to discuss her job performance.

On the tape, Archer can be heard making references to "lynching" and suggested that Montgomery had used her brain instead of her heart to advance her career and "that's what White people do."

Gov. George W. Bush had supported Archer through his previous altercations but pulled back after his latest comment, calling it "inappropriate."
                        The Houston Chronicle

                        and another one:

In 1997, Gov. George W. Bush named Marshall Police Chief Charles Williams to the state's Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.

In 1998, Williams testified in a court case that terms like "porch monkey" and "black bastard" were not offensive. "If it's in a general statement, no, I don't consider it a racial slur," Williams said. He went on to argue that when he was growing up, blacks didn't mind being called "******."

"I was born and raised with blacks," Williams said. "And back then we had ****** Charlie and ****** Sam, ****** Joe. And we regarded those people with all the respect in the world. That was their name … They didn't mind. It wasn't any big deal then."

In 1999, Bush named Williams chairman of the commission.

Perhaps nostalgia for the good ol' boy days simply got the better of Dubya.

Then it won't be the first time you thought wrong, will it ?

Goes to show that even Dubya can learn from his horrendous mistakes, with or without the aid of his Mommy's flash cards.

Perhaps he'd finally learnt the way

Or perhaps he just thought that:

I think we agree, the past is over.

As a kid, Dubya no doubt had "affectionate relationships" with his househould coloreds, and the caddies, cooks, groundskeepers, and stewards at the country club.

And no, who wants to own 'em anymore, what with havin' to feed and clothe and whip 'em into shape, and then havin' to keep feedin' em when they get all old and useless? It's so much easier to manage your coloreds when you can just hire and fire 'em as convenient.
I don't think Bush is racist.
                              ...
But I'll certainly insinuate that he is!

Holy **** ****. I hate Bush. I think he is likely the worst president in US history. I think he's crapped all over the Constitution and gotten thousands of people around the world killed for no good reason. But Jesus H. ****ing Christ Almighty On A Stick, his hand near a black man's face is not an issue.

That's a cute concept one would only find on a forum full of pimply game geeks who couldn't ordinarily get someone to approach their personal space without substantial payment in advance.

Tell ya what - how about we start a little social experiment, and have black males go up to people at random and give them friendly little slaps as a greeting? Wonder how many "personal space freaks" there are.
